If I send my friend an email can I find out if they received or opened it?

Fundamentally, no.





There are some programs, including MS Outlook, that offer you the option of a "delivery receipt", but the feature depends upon the receiving user agreeing to send such a receipt when they open the message.

Reply:Alot of services have options for Read receipt, but it has to be done at the time you sent it.
