Where's the box to check or not to check when composing an email message that would keep or delete a footer?

There used to be a simple box to check when you wanted to have your "footer" signature added to the bottom of each email message you send out.

It's not there any more - what happened to it?

Since the latest update, being phased in to the original mail page,---You no longer have the option to "add or not add" your signature.

It's automatically added every time---at the TOP (not bottom) of the composing page.

If you don't want it on a specific email----Yahoo says--just delete it as you would any other text.

See this link for that, and other changes, which CAN'T be reversed.

Reply:This seems to be only one of several aggravating changes that Yahoo has made in the last 24 hours to email.

I just checked mine and the little box for signature is gone. So it looks like the only way to access it is to go to the mail options tab and check or uncheck each time before composing. I know that I do not want my signature used all the time, just when I choose.

Nor do I like the new look of the inbox page. I belong to a local freecycle group and now instead of seeing the items that are available in the header line, you have to open every email just to read and delete.

If that had to change, why not make the columns adjustable, just like on Outlook Express? I do not want to read in full, who sent it, when it was sent, and how big it is. I just want to read the subject line and keep or delete.

Isn't change just wonderful!!
