I asked a similar question earlier, but had a follow-up question.
if I think my ex is checking my email, besides asking, how easy would it be for me to check this out?
could I just ask my internet provider who's checked my email? or when it's been checked?
Can I ask my internet provider to check if someone other than me has checked my email?
Well he would have to know your password etc. They might be able to tell you if several different computers are checking it. The easiest thing for you to do is to see the last "log-in time" They display that in some microsoft office formats etc. I don't think you can check that out in yahoo? But if a log-in time is listed you can just randomly check through-out the day and tell if somebody has "logged-in" when you were busy working etc. Then you know it's somebody other than you. Who it is might be a problem to prove.
I have heard of several women who thought it was an ex logging in only to discover that it was a close "friend" who is a busy-body,
Reply:Certainly you can. ISP's maintain detailed logs showing each time your e-mail is checked, and it also shows the name and SS number of the person doing the checking. Call your ISP and ask for a printout of all your "e-mail checker" logs. If possible, let us know what they said.
Reply:Of course you can ask your email provider! However, they may not be able to give you an answer.

Trying to set up yahoo to check email and send from my outlook 2002?
On Outlook you go to option then to new email setting then type in your account ID and your password. On the POP, type in pop.yahoo.com. On your SMTP type in smtp.yahoo.com then ok. I hope this is your Priovder server to get online, I have sbcglobal.net, you can also check on yahoo.com go to option then check the list it will tell you about pop and smtp. I hope that will help you.

Why do i have to sign in everytime i check email?
It's for your own security, if you sign out when you are finished then you need to sign in to access it. The signing in for 2 weeks hasn't been working for most lately.

Reply:I do. But only when I have down time, time spent waiting for the phone to ring, or for some more filing or typing to do. The job comes first while I am at work, but I do have a life.

How can i check the status of a sent email to another yahoo member?
I want to know if the sent email as been read.
How can i check the status of a sent email to another yahoo member?
You can't. I use Outlook Express. You can request a "Return Receipt" but if they don't check the mail, they will never know.
It is like Voice Mail if they don't check, they don't know. Mail that I receive in Outlook also show up in Yahoo so I get it twice.
Reply:u cannot know that if a person has read the email. ull have to email the person if they read the email

Why can I not check my email from another computer than my home computer?
Is the problem that you can not hit the site or that you can't log in?
These days, many company IT depts won't let you hit your web based email. So it could be blocked at wherever you are.
If you can hit the login page, you should be able to log in if you have your login name and password.
